For those unfamiliar with the monsters of Dungeons and Dragons, modrons are polyhedral clockwork creatures that are the supernatural embodiment of order and slaad are froglike beings that are the supernatural embodiment of chaos. Much like how angels and demons embody "good" and "evil" respectively.
